April Updates & Events 2025
Howdy, Foggy Friends!
The sunny part of the days is getting longer, and that white stuff on the ground will go away eventually. We’re so close to kicking off golf season for real!
We’re also excited to welcome some familiar and new faces to the team:
- Doug Konidaris is joining us all the way from New Mexico as our new Director of Golf.
- Andy Wills is back, helping out all over the place—lessons, tournaments, starter/ranger duties, and more.
- And we’re thrilled to have Dan Allen (formerly of Penobscot Country Club) stepping in as our new Superintendent!
The course came through the winter like a champ—greens are looking great, and we barely lost any trees (just some branches to clean up). Here’s what we’ve got planned to make things even better:
• Adding another Ventrac mower and upgrading others
• A shiny new greens mower
• More work on the irrigation system and pumps
• More rock wall clean-ups
• More cart path upgrades
• And even more goodness on the way!
To those of you who are always lending a hand—whether big or small—it means the world to us. We appreciate you more than you know.
As always, we welcome feedback (the good, the bad, and the ugly). Talk to me anytime or drop me a note. Your input matters—even if we can’t always act on every suggestion.
Golf & Spain—yes, there are still spots left for our unforgettable Spain trip! Both golfer and non-golfer itineraries make this a trip worth every penny. With fun people, organized daily plans, one hotel right on the Mediterranean, and unbeatable value—you really don’t want to miss this. Book today!
League sign-ups will go live as soon—stay tuned!
Thank you for all your support through the winter and into this season. You’re all friggin’ awesome!

P.S. Hopefully, you’ve seen my updates about the proposed new tax that could hit golfers hard—covering carts, rental clubs, even range balls. We’re working hard to get this fixed, but we need your help.
There’s a public hearing coming up, and we’d love to see golfers show up:
Wednesday, April 2, 2025 | 1:00 PM
State House – Room 127
The bill is L.D. 1211, aimed at clarifying rental equipment taxes. Your support could make a big difference.
