May is about getting outside, having some fun, and spending time with friends — preferably with a club in your hand.

It’s time for our April update!

March teased us a bit — we thought we’d be open sooner — but we’re getting there. The crew is starting to roll back in, and we’re doing everything we can to get open as soon as possible. Stay tuned to our updates… we’ll be out there soon.

Here’s what’s happening:

• We’re offering a Shoulder Season Pass for $149 — unlimited play through May 1 and again from October 1 through the end of the season (walking only)
• Devin is getting the pro shop set up and ready to go by the end of April
• The driving range is open, and it’s been great seeing some of you back out there
• You’ll start seeing our autonomous mower robots out on the course by the end of May
• We’re continuing to make improvements across the course — and we appreciate all your feedback (good, bad, or ugly!)

A couple quick reminders:

• If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, now’s the time
• Leagues will be starting up soon — be sure to sign up We truly appreciate all your support and love seeing you stop in and say hello.

Dear Members & Friends,

January has taken over Fogg Brook Resort, and the golf course is officially closed for winter maintenance… also known as being buried in snow. The greens are frozen, the carts and mow-bots are parked, and the only thing rolling smoothly right now is the snowblower.

Thankfully, Foggy’s Pub is wide open. The beer is cold, the stories are getting longer, and the scorecards are improving with every retelling. After all, golf is the only game where you yell “fore” and still have no idea where the ball went.

We’re counting the days until the snow melts, the fairways wake up, and Fogg Brook is back to buzzing. Until then, you know where to find us—probably at Foggy’s.

Holy cow! We’re in the last month of 2025.

As we get to the end of this year, we reflect on all our blessings and give thanks. So, thank you for being on this journey with us. And thank you for your support.

This month share that warm feeling you get with a friend in the form of a gift card. Heck, share the warmth to many. Or bring them in for a warm drink and tasty meal. We’re in seven days a week this season.

Hello Foggy Friends.

The air has finally turned to fall and the leaves are falling just to mess with golfers trying to find their balls. But your place for fun, food, and friends is committed to keeping things rolling.

First, thank you. It’s Thanksgiving month so let me reiterate how thankful we are of your continued support. You make this all possible.

Second, we look forward to some of the updates to finish the year on the course. The obvious thing you saw was the deployment of many of our new Mow-bots. They already showed some great cuts and lines. Soon all things from course will be coming off for the winter and our last applications will be put on the turf.

You probably saw the island green and small shed off hole 6. If you didn’t meet David, he’s a soon-to-be Colby grad that is launching this ‘test your skill’ game with a chance to win $5,000 or money at Foggy’s. It’ll launch fully in the spring. Roughly a 100 yard shot and take home a bunch of money? Worth a try!

Remember that our fall/winter activities are getting into full swing. The pub has Trivia Night, Thirsty Thursdays and Prime Rib Fridays. Come join the fun…plus…be on the lookout for our new menu. We’re always excited to feature some new items and keep the old goodies still available. Let us know what you think. As part of the fall/winter hours, we’re putting to bed brunch.

Spread the word! We have a great event space for company, non-profit, or private events.

Lastly, remember we have our Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday deals coming your way during Thanksgiving weekend with great gift certificate and other deals!

Ahhhh Fall Is Here! The crisp air in the morning, leaves coming down, and questions as to what my Halloween costume will be this year.

First and most important, THANK YOU to those of you who became new members and renewed memberships in September. We’re a bit ahead of last year and anticipate selling out our 2026 premier memberships. We cap our premier memberships at 300 so make sure to stop in the pro shop or visit our website to secure yours!

Huge THANKS to Bernie Ramsdal for building the walking bridges on 12 and also a huge THANKS to Bernie for the amazing sign work. He’s multi-talented for sure!

Next year we plan to have a significant jump from our late 20^th century equipment to cutting edge turf technology. You may see some of these being implemented in October. You should expect more consistent rough and fairway cuts and heck, you may become friends with these little buggers. Follow our social media (Facebook, Instagram, and now TikTok) for timely updates.

Likely by the time this is distributed you will have seen the newest addition to the resort…. a chance to win $5000. Your skill from just over 100 yards is key. Come give it a try (just off hole 7 green).

We often get asked how long we’ll stay open. Generally, we stay open through Halloween unless major snow comes and as long as we have enough golfers. When the snow does come, we’ll have temp greens and members are welcomed to come on out with your boots and snow sleds.

Happy September!

Fleetwood wins the FedEx Cup, the Ryder Cup teams are announced, our club champions are crowned, and it’s ever so slowly cooling off. And… Golf at both of our clubs rolls onward.

In addition to an amazing time of year to play golf in Maine, a ton is still going on here.

From a gratitude perspective, our crew continues to make great progress on clearing rock walls with that sexy Bobcat mini excavator and their hard work. And they have worked hard to implement piping fixes and new pumping solutions. The team has been aerating and doing what they can to keep the future of the turf health as best as possible. All this work has been happening while much of our crew goes back to school. Huge thanks to them for keeping our greens as amazing as they are despite irrigation challenges in a crazy long drought. Look for us to finish the year strong.

Soon we’ll have the Foggy Meadows showdown. This year it’s held at The Meadows. Each of the first two years the home team has won. Will this year be different?

I try to show gratitude in each of these notes. This time I also want to insert an ask. If you could take a moment and share your best part of the year as a member or friend of Fogg Brook, we’ll make sure to keep doing what people like and enjoy.

We also want to share that we’re thrilled to be the home course for Nokomis HS and MS, Kennebec Valley Community College, and Colby club team.  We’re equally proud of the money we’re able to help groups raise through golf tournaments and other events.

Humbly, we thank our members this year and trust you’ll consider renewing your membership. (Keep your eye on your inbox for sale links this week!) For other friends of the club, we hope you consider membership and join our Foggy Fun and Friends team. And even if you don’t become a member, we love having you with our team.

And a great day isn’t complete at Fogg Brook without a pub stop. Niky and team have been doing a superb job. We’re proud of their work and constant focus on our friends that visit us. Thanks Foggy’s team!

Continued enhancements and constant improvement is our continuous goal. Though we don’t always succeed, our vision and intent remains.  Fogg Brook is a place for fun, food, and friends.

Oh, and reminder it’s wedding season so don’t hit anyone with a golf cart that’s dressed up. That would be awkward.

Can you believe we’re already halfway through the season? Or, as non-golfers call it… the last month of summer.

First things first—a huge shoutout to Dan and our awesome grounds crew. Despite some pesky irrigation issues, they’ve been working their tails off to keep the course looking sharp. And the good news? The new pump is on its way!

We also want to say a big thank-you to all of you for being patient as we navigate some staff changes. We’re building the best team we can to create the best golf experience—it’s just taking a little longer than expected. We truly appreciate your support and encouragement.

As always, we want your feedback—the good, the bad, or the ugly. We need to hear it all. It’s how we keep improving and making the experience better for everyone. Please feel free to reach out to Niky, Dan, Kait, or me with anything on your mind.
