Greetings friends of Palmyra Golf Course and Campground,

I am excited to announce that I have purchased the land and business from the Cayer family and look forward to building on the foundation they have established over the last several decades.

The first question is likely who the heck is this guy? Here is a little background about me:

I’m originally from Wyoming and have lived in Maine for over twenty years.  In 2017 I traded in my corporate gig running call centers around the US, Mexico, and Belize to purchase The Meadows Golf Club in Litchfield, ME.  We added Doolin’s Pub and had a lot of success and fun building a great community hub.  You can check them out online at www.themeadowsgolfclub.com  and www.doolinspub.com. I have been following Palmyra Golf Course for many years and am excited to carry on with building a golf course and campground experience you will continue to enjoy!

The second question is inevitably what am I planning for the course and campground?

The Cayer family have built a great foundation over the years with loyal customers, a fun and challenging course, a clean and well-appointed campground and a good atmosphere.  The intent is to continue operating the property as a golf course and campground.  This business is an institution in this area and we will continue making improvements to provide even more enjoyment for this community.

That said, change is inevitable and I am looking forward to evolving the course, campground and facilities over time to continue to meet the changing needs of members, guests and the public who enjoy this property.  I can assure you that modifications will be thoughtful, well planned and communicated clearly. I look forward to your feedback on what you love and also what improvements you would like to see.  Many of you have been here for quite some time so hearing your perspective and thoughts will be immensely valuable.

The first change will be our name, Fogg Brook Resort.  We wanted a new name, a fresh start that still ties into the area and the beautiful brook that  runs through the property.  We want to share our plans with you as well as hear your thoughts and ideas and meet you in person, so keep an eye out for a meet and greet at the club in the coming months.
